Melody Westerdal, a Seattle area
native grew up always reading starting from Nancy Drew to Sidney Shelton,
Anne Rice, Erma Bombeck, Patricia Cornwell and
John Grisham. After leaving a career
as a manager in real estate asset management, writing nonfiction corporate
publications, she completed two years of Popular Fiction classes at the
University of Washington and is now working on mystery novels. She has published internet restaurant
reviews for restaurants in Seattle and Honolulu. She gets inspiration from traveling
between Sweden, Hawaii, and Seattle while living in a technology dominated
family and occasionally running away by playing tennis or redesigning her
garden
